Working together to produce wholesome and organic Mozzarella di Bufala Campana
Terra viva is the project that brought together Legambiente, Libera, Slow Food, the certification body CCPB and us at Alce Nero in the production of organic Mozzarella di Bufala Campana, which comes from land that is finally uncontaminated.
These are open enterprises that work together, extensive ranches where buffaloes are free to graze and dairy factories associated with breeders where controls are conducted on the land and the product, all with the aim of creating delicious, safe mozzarella – these are the very real actions that gave life to Terra Viva.
There is a transparent supply chain within which each and every person does their job considerately and consciously in order to protect the Earth and take personal responsibility for health and safety, animal welfare and the enjoyment of the people who will eat the mozzarella.
This is another way of doing business: a more responsible way. This is another way of thinking of a land such as the Campania region: lush, generous land, the land of upstanding people, the land of redemption.
Terra Viva is a mozzarella that has many flavours: that of the milk, of the pastures, of the sea, yet also of legality, sustainability and respect.
