Why choose organic?
The decision we made over thirty years ago to grow and breed according to organic principles aims to both protect the fertility of the environment and respect the people who cultivate and eat those products.
Plants grown via organic means develop their own immune defences, with the only support given coming from organic fertilisers and the total absence of chemical anti-parasitics, herbicides and pesticides.
RESPECTS THE EARTH
Crop rotation gives the land the time it needs to rest, also allowing for the natural replenishment of the valuable nutrients required for crops to grow.
RESPECTS THE SEASONS
The raw ingredients are grown, harvested and processed following the rhythms of nature, and chemicals are never used to force them.
RESPECTS AND PROTECTS BIODIVERSITY
The use of pesticides, which are so typical in non-organic crops, causes the disappearance of beneficial insects, not to mention soil impoverishment.
Cultivation that does not make use of chemicals protects the farmer from coming into contact with substances that could harm his or her health.
RESPECTS THE CONSUMER
The differences in terms of ingredients between an organic product and a conventional one reflect an approach that aims to guarantee the authenticity of organic foodstuffs, while maintaining a varied product range.
